The staff occupational therapist is responsible for the evaluation of patients; development, coordination and implementation of the treatment plan; discharge planning, maintenance of informative, accurate and timely documentation. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for supervision of the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Based on assigned unit/area, the occupational therapist could be involved in team meetings, family meetings, home evaluations, staff training and basic office duties/reports. Treatment outside the hospital setting could include home.
All staff occupational therapists are required to keep current national registry and Missouri licensure, in addition to participating in continuing education and training of others.

The Radiologic Technologist-Not Registered performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. The technologist performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply ionizing radiation to produce diagnostic radiographs. Assumes responsibility for designated areas of procedures as required. The individual is trained in a certified Radiology Technology program and capable of performing patient care for the age groups: 0-105 years old.

The Environmental Service Worker is to maintain a clean, sanitary, and orderly facility environment; keep a daily QI log.

The Clinic LPN/MA is responsible for patient care within the Clinic, trained and capable of performing patient care for the age groups newborn to 105 years old.

The Centralized Scheduling/Auth Referral Specialist – Medical Assistant is responsible for the following: answering calls coming into the call center, scheduling all Clinic offices for daily appointments, scheduling hospital tests excluding surgeries, & ensuring authorizations are obtained and documented.

The Self Pay Representative is responsible for arranging payment plans, assisting with applications for public assistance, and screening admissions for eligibility for public assistance or reduced fees based on income.
The Self Pay Representative reports directly to the Director of Patient Financial Services.
The Dietetics Cook is responsible for pre-preparation and preparation of foods for patients, cafeteria, and special events. This position could also work in other areas of the department as needed.

Tests will be performed on blood, body fluids, and tissues as ordered by the patient’s physician. **Must be able to meet job requirements for phlebotomist as required.

The Medical Technologist –Registered will work in all areas of the laboratory. Those being chemistry, microbiology, blood bank, hematology, urinalysis, blood gases, coagulation, and serology. Tests will be performed on blood, body fluids, and tissues as ordered by the patient’s physician.
The Medical Technologist – Registered reports directly to the Section Lead, Chief Tech or Laboratory Director. This staff position once deemed trained and competent will be responsible for performing waived, moderate and high complexity test resulting unsupervised.

The Medical Technologist – Registered reports directly to the Section Lead, Chief Tech or Laboratory Director. This staff position once deemed trained and competent will be responsible for performing waived, moderate and high complexity test resulting unsupervised.
The Patient Access Specialist is responsible for working return mail daily, billing, entering various data in the system, and in the absence of the Manage Care Specialist, completes their duties.

The clinical/ staff Pharmacist is available in patient care areas on a 24-hour call basis. Maintains a complete drug profile, monitors drug therapy and relates it to clinical laboratory tests and adverse drug reactions, is available to physicians to help plan the drug regimen and assists the nurse in managing the drug portion of the patient care plans for which he/she is responsible. In addition, is an available source of drug information reinforced by an organized drug information service. The Pharmacist is responsible for analysis, confirmation, and order entry of drug orders for patients prior to filling of orders by qualified technicians and subsequently prior to dispensing manually or through AMDS.
The Clinical/Staff Pharmacist reports directly to the Director of Pharmacy.
The Pharmacy Technician analyzes, confirms, and fills medication and IV orders entered and reviewed by a Pharmacist. Answers drug queries and triages problems from nursing, medical staff, and the public. Responsible for all phases of medication procurement, storage, filling and dispensing, as well as providing support in developing and maintaining all aspects of a well-organized efficient hospital pharmacy environment.
The Pharmacy Technician reports directly to Pharmacists and/or the Director of Pharmacy.
The Nursing Assistant must have the skill and knowledge to provide population specific care.
He/She must have the ability to assist with the collection of data for objective assessment, and to identify the needs and requirements of the patient and report to the charge nurse/team leader. They will act within the scope of practice for Nursing.
