JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Acts as Maintenance Coordinator in his absence.
Performs preventive and corrective maintenance including trouble-shooting of all equipment assigned by the Director.
Provides a first look where appropriate, at complex Clinical Equipment that is maintained by an outside contractor.
Assists Department Directors and Nurse Managers in training their personnel in the proper operation of medical equipment.
Maintains a “better than 95% completion rate” on all assigned preventive maintenance.
Other duties as assigned.
a.) Satisfactory completion of a recognized BMET course of instruction, or Associates Degree in Electronics preferred.
a.) As required by code.
a.) At least two years experience in the maintenance of medical equipment preferred.
