The Clinic LPN is responsible for patient care within the Clinic, trained and capable of performing patient care for the age groups newborn to 18 years old.
The Clinic LPN reports directly to the Clinics Operations Director.
1. Take vital signs; obtain medical history, gives injections and immunizations as ordered by the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, and/or Mid-wife.
2. Perform Lab draws.
3. Maintain current licensure and proficiencies.
4. Maintain required logs and information needed for reports.
5. Maintain high level of confidentiality.
6. Other duties as requested by Physician, APN, and/or Mid-wife.
1. Education
a.) Graduate of an approved Practical School of Nursing.
2. Licensure/Certification
a.) Current licensure by Missouri State Board of Nursing.
b.) BLS certification required within 6 months of employment
3. Work Experience
a.) Successful completion of orientation for LPN.
