The Clinic LPN is responsible for patient care within the Clinic, trained and capable of performing patient care for the age groups newborn to 105 years old.
The Clinic LPN reports directly to the Clinics Operations Director.
1. | Take vital signs, obtain medical history, gives injections and immunizations as ordered by the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, and Mid-wife. |
2. | Maintain current licensure and proficiencies. |
3. | Maintain required logs and information needed for reports. |
4. | Maintain high level of confidentiality. |
5. | Performs venipuncture, nasal pharyngeal wash/swab, arterial and capillary punctures. Identifies and labels specimens. Conducts lab tests on specimens. Enters data into computer. |
6. | Assists donor before, during, and after donation. Instructs on urine collection procedures. |
7. | Other duties as assigned. |
