Overview

The Clinic Operations Manager is a leadership staff position. The Clinic Operations Manager assists in developing and implementing operational strategies. Support staff development to improve efficiency and meet Bothwell Regional Health Center goals. Identify and implement process improvement, ensure compliance and maintain efficient communication strategies to all stakeholders.

 

The Clinic Operations Manager supervises operations and activities in the clinic to ensure successful delivery of patient care.

 

The Clinic Operations Manager reports directly to the Director of Clinic Operations

Responsibilities

1. Manages hiring, training, and supervising assigned staff, helping them develop performance goals and objectives.

 

2. Manages daily operations at clinic sites, and coordinates the work activities and schedules.

 

3. Manages performance evaluations, & recommends merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions.

 

4. Assists in the creation and implementation of medical support and computer systems and procedures.

 

5. Ensures that office space, supplies, equipment, and assistance are provided and maintained appropriately for medical staff and patient care.

 

6. Monitors appointments, patient flow, medical records, medical transcription systems, and staff.

 

7. Supervises fee, credit, and collection procedures.

 

8. Identifies and resolves work problems to ensure quality patient service.

 

9. Works with Director of Clinic Operations to ensure compliance with regulations, and with clinic standards of quality patient care.

 

10. Works with Director of Clinic Operations in preparing budgets, and ensures satellite operations and relations are effective.

 

11. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Education:
  a.) Associate degree in business or related field preferred.

2. Licensure/Certification:
  a.) CPME preferred.

 

3. Work Experience:
  a.) Minimum of 3-5 years in out-patient clinic leadership experience.
  b.) Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  c.) Knowledge of computer systems, programs, and applications.
  d.) Knowledge of fiscal management and effective human resources practices.
