The Nurse Practitioner(NP) / Physician’s Assistant (PA) shall have a collaborative agreement with the Medical Director which grants the NP/PA authority to provide care to patients following protocols that have been jointly agreed upon. The NP/PA provides patient assessment, develops a diagnostic impression, and plans the patient treatment following established protocols, and discharge instructions. The NP/PA consults with the attending physician at any time during the process, should a question of patient assessment or treatment occur.

The Respiratory Therapist-RRT is an allied health care practitioner who functions under the supervision of a physician and in accordance with Hospital approved procedures and or protocols. This individual is responsible for the administration of pharmacologic, diagnostic, and therapeutic agents related to respiratory care to implement or modify diagnostic regimes, treatment, disease prevention, or pulmonary rehabilitation of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities associated with the cardiopulmonary system.

The Medical Technologist –Registered will work in all areas of the laboratory. Those being chemistry, microbiology, blood bank, hematology, urinalysis, blood gases, coagulation, and serology. Tests will be performed on blood, body fluids, and tissues as ordered by the patient’s physician. **Must be able to meet job requirements for phlebotomist as required.
The Medical Technologist – Registered reports directly to the Section Supervisor or Laboratory Director.
The RN / GN must have the skill and knowledge to provide population specific care. He/She must have the ability to assess, evaluate, identify, and interpret the requirement and needs of the patients and perform based on those findings.

The Radiation Oncology Technologist delivers ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with the prescription and instruction of the Radiation Oncologist. This individual is trained and capable of performing patient care for the age groups: 0 to 105 years old.
The Radiation Oncology Technologist reports directly to Radiation Oncology Chief Technologist and the Director of Oncology Services.
Surgical Technologists are allied health professionals with specialized education who function as members of the surgical team in the role of scrub person. Surgical LPN are LPN that receive on-the-job training. In collaboration with the surgical team members providing surgical care to patients, they ensure that the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. They will work within their scope of practice.
The Surgical Technologist reports directly to the RN circulator, charge nurse and/or team leader.

The Obstetrical Technician is a nursing or assistant nursing position on the Women’s Health and Newborn Care Unit. The Obstetrical Technician provides supportive nursing care as a member of the health care team. The department includes functioning in a role between all three units including labor and delivery, NICU, and women’s health & newborn care. The role includes acting as a scrub technician during Cesarean Sections and maintaining of the Cesarean Section Delivery room. Employee responsible for a 30-minute response time to facility upon being called in. This position does have additional cesarean scrub call outside of scheduled hours.
The Obstetrical Technician functions under the direction of the professional registered nurse. The professional registered nurse is ultimately responsible for the coordination and delivery of nursing care to women and newborns.

The Cardiology Echocardiographic Technologist is an allied health care technician who performs cardiac ultrasounds in their assigned section. This individual is responsible for the performance of diagnostic testing procedures on patients with deficiencies and abnormalities associated with the heart.
The Cardiology Echocardiographic Technologist reports directly to the department director.
