The Perioperative Services Aide is responsible for stocking the anesthesia supplies in each room. They would assist patients off and on carts, OR/SDS/PACU tables, or transfer to wheelchairs. The Perioperative Services Aide assists the OR team with cleaning OR/SDS/PACU rooms and equipment between patients, to help with turnover. They are also responsible for transporting equipment and supplies to the surgical services departments.

The Clinic Receptionist performs duties directly involved with all aspects of the secretarial duties needed to maintain medical records. The clinic receptionist handles all incoming telephone calls, directing calls to the appropriate department or person and takes messages when needed. The clinic receptionist assists the patient in checking in for their appointment and for checking the patient out after the appointment and follow-up appointment scheduling as needed.

The clinical/ staff Pharmacist is available in patient care areas on a 24-hour call basis. Maintains a complete drug profile, monitors drug therapy and relates it to clinical laboratory tests and adverse drug reactions is available to physicians to help plan the drug regimen and assists the nurse in managing the drug portion of the patient care plans for which he/she is responsible. In addition, is an available source of drug information reinforced by an organized drug information service. The Pharmacist is responsible for analysis, confirmation, and order entry of drug orders for patients prior to filling of orders by qualified technicians and subsequently prior to dispensing manually or through AMDS.
The Obstetrical Technician is a nursing or assistant nursing position on the Women’s Health and Newborn Care Unit. The Obstetrical Technician provides supportive nursing care as a member of the health care team. The department includes functioning in a role between all three units including labor and delivery, NICU, and women’s health & newborn care. The Mammographer-Registered performs mammography procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. The technologist performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply ionizing radiation to produce diagnostic and screening mammograms. Assumes responsibility for designated areas of procedures as required. The individual is trained and a graduate from a certified Radiologic training program and capable of performing patient care for the age groups: 0-105 years old.
