The Facility Services plumber oversees all plumbing activity in the hospital facility and properties. Uses blueprints, sketches and drawings to renovate, construct, and install facilities and /or equipment. Inspects major piping systems and sub-systems regularly and performs preventative maintenance and repairs as required, in compliance with established standards and codes as related to renovation and construction work. This position provides extensive monitoring function for all cardiac telemetry and hard-wire monitored patients and monitors a specified number of patients ordered pulse oximetry in a centralized location. This position also possesses a good knowledge of dysrhythmia interpretation and utilizes effective communication with multiple units nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members.   The Monitor tech reports directly to the CCU/PCU Director.
