The Patient Access Specialist is responsible for working return mail daily, billing, entering various data in the system, and in the absence of the Manage Care Specialist, completes their duties.   The Patient Access Specialist reports directly to the Director of Patient Services.

The Clinic LPN/MA is responsible for patient care within the Clinic, trained and capable of performing patient care for the age groups newborn to 105 years old. The Clinic LPN reports directly to the Clinics Operations Director.

The Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation of patients; development, coordination and implementation of the treatment plan; discharge planning, maintenance of informative, accurate and timely documentation. The Physical Therapist is responsible for supervision of the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). Based on assigned unit/area, the physical therapist could be involved in team meetings, family meetings, home evaluations, staff training and basic office duties/reports.  Treatment outside the hospital setting could include home.   Physical Therapists are required to keep current national registry and Missouri licensure, in addition to participating in continuing education and training of others.   The Physical Therapist reports directly to the Director of Rehab.  

The Constant Observer works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) to assist with patient monitoring as directed by the RN.  The Constant Observer’s primary responsibility is to protect the patient from self-harm and assure safety needs by staying at the bedside.  The Constant Observer functions include comfort and safety measures, patient monitoring, & communicating patient status to nursing staff.  The Constant Observer is expected to maintain a clean, calm, therapeutic environment in order to promote patient safety.  The Constant Observer is expected to care for all patient populations from infancy to geriatric.

The Radiation Oncology Technologist delivers ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with the prescription and instruction of the Radiation Oncologist. This individual is trained and capable of performing patient care for the age groups:   0 to 105 years old.   The Radiation Oncology Technologist reports directly to Radiation Oncology Chief Technologist and the Director of Oncology Services.

The Cardiology Echocardiographic Technologist is an allied health care technician who performs cardiac ultrasounds in their assigned section. This individual is responsible for the performance of diagnostic testing procedures on patients with deficiencies and abnormalities associated with the heart.   The Cardiology Echocardiographic Technologist reports directly to the department director.

The Radiologic Technologist-Not Registered performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.  The technologist performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply ionizing radiation to produce diagnostic radiographs. Assumes responsibility for designated areas of procedures as required. The individual is trained in a certified Radiology Technology program and capable of performing patient care for the age groups:  0-105 years old.   The Radiologic Technologist-Not Registered reports directly to Radiology Chief Technologist.

The staff occupational therapist is responsible for the evaluation of patients; development, coordination and implementation of the treatment plan; discharge planning, maintenance of informative, accurate and timely documentation. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for supervision of the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).   Based on assigned unit/area, the occupational therapist could be involved in team meetings, family meetings, home evaluations, staff training and basic office duties/reports.  Treatment outside the hospital setting could include home.   All staff occupational therapists are required to keep current national registry and Missouri licensure, in addition to participating in continuing education and training of others.   The staff occupational therapist reports directly to the Director of Rehab.

The Charge Nurse is accountable for excellence in the clinical practice of nursing and the delivery of patient care. He/She directs and oversees function and activities of the assigned unit.  He/She recommends, develops and implements policies, procedures, standards and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff and the public.  He/She assumes the duties of the Director in his/her absence.   The Charge Nurse reports directly to the PCU Director.
